Natural Habitat/Origin
This species of fish was originally found in the Society Islands in the Pacific but there have been sightings in the tropical waters across the Western Pacific including Belau, the Hawaiian, Marquesas, Ducie Islands, and the Great Barrier Reef. They typically live in groups of up to three to seven individuals, preferring stony coral reefs.
Appearance
The Flame Angelfish has an oval body and rounded fins.

The Flame Angelfish is of the Least Concern according to the IUCN Red List.
